Reedsburg Writers (Online via Zoom)

Reedsburg Writers is a program for all children and teens who are able to write independently! Join us on Zoom* each Friday (except July 3rd) to write and illustrate stories of your choice. We will publish the group's work at the end of the summer and hopefully have a "publication party" August 7th to celebrate! Materials to participate will be available to pick up at the library. We will evaluate moving from Zoom* to in-person as the summer goes on.

E-mail registration required in order to obtain secure access to Zoom meeting.

*For this program we will be using the free video communication platform Zoom. While we as the library are doing everything we can to ensure you can safely participate in this program (monitoring the guest list, sending invitations only to those who are registered, having a designated moderator during the program, etc), ultimately your parent or guardian retains full responsibility for when and how you participate in online activities. By registering for this event you are agreeing that you understand that the library is not acting in loco parentis (in the place of a parent).

Register at least one hour in advance to receive an email invite to join! Participation after registering IS expected, so let us know if you are unable to attend. This program will be live and will not be recorded. This is to protect the privacy of all who are participating. So, just like at the library, you will need to be "there" during the time that it is offered or miss out. Because all of this is just as much new to us as it is to you, we appreciate your patience and flexibility. The month of June will be a test to see if this format works. Feedback is welcomed and will be seriously considered as we move forward into the summer.
